Steps to bypass required payments and paperwork fields from the virtual waiting room

The fields required to join a Solv Video Telemed visit include: Name, DOB, mobile number, email address, home address. In addition, we can set the Paperwork and/or Payment information to be required fields as well that need to be completed prior to the patient joining the Video Telemed call.

Setting Payments and/or Paperwork to required

Reach out to [email protected] and our team will be happy to assist you in making these fields required for the patient to complete. 

Flags to indicate who has uploaded Payment/Paperwork

The patient is required to submit Paperwork and Payment information before joining the call. If the patient has not submitted the required information, the "Paperwork" and "Credit Card" flags will show as red with exclamation points in the virtual waiting room. Once they are complete, the flags will show blue check marks.

Please note: neither the patient nor the provider will be able to join the call unless the required field(s) is completed. 

Bypassing the required Paperwork/Payments fields to allow a patient to join a call

If a patient does not complete Paperwork or Payments and your staff wants to allow the patient to skip the Paperwork or Payments screen to join the visit, you can use the virtual waiting room's bypass functionality. 

  • Click on the patient’s name to open the patient record 

  • Under “Visit Details”, you can click “Bypass Paperwork” or “Bypass Payment"

  • When the patient tries to join the visit again, they will be able to skip through the Payments and Paperwork screens to join the visit
