The Solv Video Telemed solution is built with flexibility in mind to best help you and your team support you patients and your community. We are happy to provide a sample workflow for how you can manage patients who schedule virtual visits.

Before the call

  1. Add the booking link that Solv provides to your website for patients to access and book ahead of time

  2. A patient can then schedule a virtual visit, and all users who have notifications set will receive an alert via email and/or mobile phone

  3. Some partners have notifications set for an MA or front office staff member to triage the patient prior to a provider joining for the consult, while others have notifications set for providers to directly manage virtual visits

Patient coordinator collects medical history

  1. The patient coordinator can triage visits prior to the provider joining the call

  2. Go to manage.solvhealth.com/login and enter username and password

  3. Select the virtual location is selected from the dropdown menu, and click on the blue “Go” button

  4. You’ve now entered the virtual visit queue where you can see the patient information under the purple “Requested” status

  5.  Click on the “Claim” button and then the “Start” button to join the call, and gather the medical history

  6. The patient coordinator can then click on “Leave Video Visit” in the upper right corner of the call and select “Visit not completed” to put the patient back in the “Claimed” status in the queue

Provider joins the call

  1. Log into Solv by going to manage.solvhealth.com/login and sign in

  2. Select the virtual location from the dropdown menu, and click on the blue “Go” button

  3. Click on the “Start” button to launch the virtual visit and begin the virtual consult, charting notes and e-prescribing any medication needed in the EHR to be sent to the pharmacy

  4. Select “Leave Video Visit” and then the “Visit completed” button

  5. The patient booking request will then go to the All Done tab and the provider can log out of the Solv queue until the next patient booking request

Bill patient for the encounter

Any user can charge the patient through Solv for the encounter at the time of the visit if the account is enrolled in Solv Pay.
