Video Telemed visits are a great way to connect with a high quality provider to ask questions about symptoms for common medical questions!

Technical recommendations

We recommend that you run a quick Tech Check prior to your visit to confirm that you are set up for virtual visit success!

Mobile/Tablet

  • If joining the virtual call on an iPhone/iPad, please use the Safari browser

  • If joining the virtual call on an Android, please use the Chrome browser

Desktop (make sure it has a camera connected)

  • On a Mac or PC, please join the call using a Chrome browser for the most successful connection

Additional recommendations for a successful visit

  1. Whether mobile or desktop, make sure that the browser has video and audio enabled

  2. For the best call quality, confirm that your device is connected to your home's WiFi network

  3. Use headphones to reduce the chance for echo and higher audio quality so your provider can hear you

  4. Close the other apps and browser windows on your mobile phone that are open, as these can decrease the quality of the video call quality

  5. Mind your space: make sure you're in a quiet space with good lighting so that your provider can see you
