All partners can utilize QR code check-in in addition to, or instead of a Kiosk so all patients can let you know they've arrived

Solv provides partners with the option for patients to check-in at the clinic when they arrive by scanning a contactless QR code or by using the Kiosk. Your Implementation Consultant will provide you with a flyer that you can post by your front desk to make it easy for patients to find the flyer and check themselves in.

For Solv partners on the Professional package, patients will automatically be prompted to complete paperwork if they did not complete it ahead of their arrival. Patients will be able to both complete their registration and e-have sign consent forms.

Both walk-in and book ahead patients can take advantage of a contactless check-in workflow to eliminate the need for clipboards, paper and pens. This reduces active staff work keying in paper forms into the EHR, data entry errors that can delay insurance payment, and saves time since patients are signing themselves instead of crowding at the front desk.

How it works

  1. Post the contactless flyer in a place where patients can easily access (don't have the flyer? Request one from [email protected])

  2. Patients scan the QR code on the flyer

  3. If the patient booked ahead and completed digital registration, they will be moved from the "Reserved" to the "Here Now" tab

  4. If the patient booked ahead and did not complete digital registration, they will be prompted to do so and appear in the "Here Now" tab

  5. If the patient is a walk in, they will be prompted to complete digital registration and will appear in the "Here Now" tab

QR Code

The QR code will allow patients with smartphones to scan the QR code and sign whether they are a walk-in or a patient who has booked ahead. Walk-in patients will be prompted to enter their demographic information while book ahead patients will be able to sign in with 2 taps to let your front desk know they've arrived.

The patients will appear in the Here page on the Solv Dashboard (manage.solvhealth.com/login)

You can now go to Settings > Locations > Edit > Paperwork to select which fields you would like to be visible for patients to complete in the paperwork flow. You can also select whether you would like the questions to be Optional or Required.

Remember to click on the blue Save button to save your changes!

Please reach out to us at [email protected] to share the custom questions and any custom consent forms you'd like to add. We recommend limiting to 5 custom questions so that patients answer all of them.
