Digital Paperwork Handoff Code

Once you have identified a patient who needs to use the handoff code to complete their paperwork, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the patient’s name in the Solv queue to open their face sheet.

  2. Select the “paperwork” tab from the menu.

3. Click “Get handoff code”. Copy the patient-specific 5-character code.

Hand Off Code is UNIQUE for each patient - Please find the patient specific code in the patient's facesheet

4.Navigate to solv.me/handoff.

5. Enter the code in the handoff code webpage.

6. Click Continue.

If the patient has access to their phone and can receive the verification code (e.g. they have a flip phone or they prefer to not use their smartphone) then they should click “Log in with mobile number”. This will allow the system to recognize their loyalty profile and pre-populate their information. If the patient does not have access to their phone, they should click “Continue without logging in”.

Once the patient completes their paperwork on the handoff iPad, their information will be sent to NextGen and the “Forms” pill will turn green in the Solv queue.
